CFP: Plotinus and the Gnostics
Chiara O. Tommasi and Luciana Gabriela Soares Santoprete are currently preparing a volume focusing on the polemic between Plotinus and the Gnostics, the relationship between post-Plotinian Neoplatonists and Gnostic and Christian texts, the historical aspects of this context and the philosophical aspects of Gnostic texts (their links with Plato's texts, Pythagoreanism, Medioplatonism, Hermeticism and the Chaldean Oracles). If you would like to contribute to this volume, please send us a proposed title along with a one-page abstract by June 30. Paper proposals should be emailed to Chiara O. Tommasi (chiara.tommasi@unipi.it). All proposals will be subject to peer review, and we will inform you as soon as possible whether your contribution has been accepted.
